There once sat a little girl with a cheap red balloon given to her by a street vender.
She always sat high upon the ledge of a very tall brick apartment building.
Since her dark red balloon wasn’t tied at the opening, she would blow it up and let it deflate over and over again.
Which amused her to no end.
High up on an apartment building, sitting on a windowsill, puffing on the dark red balloon.
Do you think that she is afraid of heights?
Is it because you are afraid of heights?
The wind blows her curly red rendered hair and cools her face.
Happy little girl sitting on a high up ledge on a tall tall building puffing on the dark red balloon.
She isn’t afraid because it’s her home.
She sits in her place all the time, minding her own.
The other people passing by don’t talk to her.
Others wonder who she belongs to.
She watches them walking by her ignoring the questioning glances.
She looks down upon them up on her ledge with legs dangling from the tallest window.
As if to judge them on looks alone.
She isn’t afraid because this is her home.
She isn’t afraid because this is her home.
Where all the people leave her alone.

Do you ever find yourself counting sheep? No, I am not talking about the album by the country singer. I am talking about attempting to have a restful nights sleep. I know so many people personally that don’t sleep well what-so-ever. I also understand that there are so many people out there in the world who are looking for a little help with this sleeping issue. The issue of not being about to get some shuteye. Some people may say that they have tried just about everything to sooth their souls into a restful night. There is nothing better than being able to rest your head on a pillow at night and wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed! So, don’t think about moving to Piwonin where there is only a population of about a hundred people in order to visit the sandman. There are better ways of going about these things.

Let me know!

Tell me how you sleep at night!

Creative Writing Exercise

There once was a little girl who dreamed of going to Ireland. When she thought of places that she wanted to go she but she could only think of the lovely Bannfoot in northern Ireland. It was some sort of calling; something that she needed to do. “There is more to life thank living here in Sacramento!” Thoughts like this always seemed to enter her mind. She thought that it was for a reason, and little did she know it was for a reason. Mary thought about going to the Sacramento Executive Airport. She thought of a cousin that she has that worked for the Avondale train station in Clarkson GA. He knew everything about trains and traveling alike. She thought of calling him. Maybe even texting him… “I could send him an email.” She thought. She always wanted to go to Stone Mountain Park but she didn’t have her heart set on going down south. She didn’t have her heart set on being where she was. What is it what Mary wants?

This is something that is a work in progress, a sample of work to come. Since this is just a taste of writing remember to contact me at my personal

Thank you for taking the time to check out my post I will continue to update slowly =]

I have often heard that you see what you want to see, you see who you are in what you are looking at. I feel like this has more to do with art and things that you can interpret. Things like ideas, ideas from other people. When you listen to others speak to you your brain is working very hard to understand where the other person is coming from. You need to help them help you understand what they are trying to say. Sometimes putting yourself in the other person’s shoes will help you with the process of understanding. We normally have no idea how the other person feels so all there is for us to do is to listen and process what we are being told.

The mood to write can come at any time. For some it’s in the morning when they are laying in bed. For others their best ideas could come in the shower or while they’re blow drying their hair. I try and get my ideas down on paper or into a file on my phone. Not every idea I have is a good one but that doesn’t stop me from trying to make it work. It’s funny because sometimes the ideas I don’t think people will be interested in at all are the blogs post that get the most attention.

How do you think bloggers come up with the ideas that they write about? For one they keep a list of things that interest them or they keep a folder of things that they have thought about but didn’t have the time to blog about. Ideas are not hard to come by but a good idea, a interesting idea, that is something to file away. So, don’t underestimate the power of saving something in a folder labeled, “My Ideas”
